A simple blood spot test kit that can be done at home and sent off to the laboratory in the prepaid envelope provided. Results are sent to your home address within 5 working days of receiving your sample.

Your test pack contains all components required to take a home sample. You return the sample along with a completed consent form in the pre-paid envelope provided and your results are then analysed in an NHS laboratory and the results are sent to you by email as a PDF or by post if you prefer. Turnaround is 4-7 working days.

The tests are supplied by a large NHS Pathology Department in Birmingham, UK. that analyse around 100,000 Vitamin D tests a year using LC-MS/MS techniques. Both Vitamin D3 and D2 are measured giving a ‘Total Vitamin D’ level. The Vitamin D test service to the public has been operating since 2011 and carries a CE mark. Results are closely aligned to serum results. Ranges for serum and blood spot are comparable. Results are provided in an easy-to-understand traffic light system that you can discuss with your doctor or health care practitioner if required.

Vitamin D test - £30.99 includes Royal Mail postage a prepaid envelope for returning your sample to the lab. Vitamin D tests can be added to your Solray-D order.
